Course Chapters

Click any chapter to launch the interactive module in your browser. Complete all sections within a chapter to generate your Completion Report.

🚀

How It Works

1

Open the Chapter

Click a chapter link above (or use the link provided by your instructor in Canvas). The module opens directly in your browser — no downloads, no accounts, no plugins.

2

Enter Your Full Name

Type your first and last name exactly as it appears on your class roster. This name prints on your Completion Report, so accuracy matters.

3

Work Through Sections

Each chapter has 4–8 sections. Read the content, click reveal cards to uncover key concepts, and answer knowledge check questions for points.

4

Complete Each Section

After finishing a section’s content and questions, click “Complete Section” at the bottom. The section card on the home page turns green with a checkmark.

5

Generate Your Report

Once all sections are complete, a “View Completion Report” button appears. Click it to see your letter grade, points, and section-by-section breakdown.

6

Screenshot & Submit

Take a screenshot of your Completion Report (or use the Print button to save as PDF). Submit it via Canvas per your instructor’s directions.

Submitting Your Score

⚠️ Important: How to Submit

  1. Complete all sections of the assigned chapter — the report will not generate until every section is finished.
  2. Click “View Completion Report” on the home page to generate your report.
  3. Verify that your name, letter grade, percentage, and date are all visible on the report.
  4. Take a full-page screenshot of the report. On Windows, press Win+Shift+S and select the full report area. On Mac, press Cmd+Shift+4. Alternatively, click the Print button and choose “Save as PDF.”
  5. Upload your screenshot or PDF to the Canvas assignment for that chapter.

Pro tip: Take your screenshot immediately after generating the report. If you close the browser tab, your session data may be lost.

Tips for Success

⏱️
Don’t rush. Modules include smart pacing alerts calibrated to each section’s content length. Take your time reading for the best score.
🔎
Click every reveal card. The hidden content often appears in knowledge checks. Plus, each one earns you points.
💻
Use a laptop or desktop. Modules work on phones, but the experience is best on a larger screen.
💪
Finish in one sitting. Progress is session-based. If you close the tab, you may need to start over.
🎯
Answer carefully. First-attempt correct answers earn full points. Incorrect answers earn partial credit but lower your quiz accuracy.
📸
Screenshot immediately. As soon as the report generates, capture it. Don’t navigate away first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Each module is a standalone HTML file that runs entirely in your web browser. Just click the link and start learning. Works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Can I complete the module on my phone?
Yes, all modules are mobile-responsive. However, a laptop or desktop provides the best experience, especially for taking screenshots of your report.
What happens if I close my browser before finishing?
Your progress is stored in your browser session. If you close the tab or browser, your progress may be lost. Plan to complete each chapter in a single sitting of 45–60 minutes.
Can I redo a chapter for a better score?
You can re-open the module and start from scratch at any time. Check with your instructor about whether re-submissions are accepted.
Why did I get a pacing alert?
Pacing alerts appear if you complete a section faster than the estimated reading time for that section’s content. Each section has its own threshold based on word count, so longer sections allow more time. This is a gentle reminder to engage with the material — it does not affect your score.
I finished all sections but don’t see the report button. What do I do?
Make sure every section card on the home page shows a green checkmark. If one is missing, click into that section, scroll to the bottom, and click “Complete Section.” The report button appears only when 100% of sections are marked complete.
Who do I contact if a module isn’t working?
Reach out to your instructor via Canvas Inbox. Include which chapter, which browser you’re using, and a screenshot of any error you see.
Where does my data go? Is it tracked?
Your data stays entirely in your browser. These modules do not send data to any server, do not use cookies for tracking, and do not require login. Your score exists only in your browser session and on the screenshot you submit.
